Guitar Heroes show at Tavastia Club Helsinki

“Fresh” from the Japan trip, straight after “relaxing” 15 hour flight Mika did a surprise shred performance during the “Guitar Heroes” night 6.11. Of course this gig was broadcasted live on Finnish TV and internet.

The G-system demos at the TC Electronic booth was a great chance for Mika and Mr. Fastfinger to jam together. All 11 shows in just 4 days was pure joy and also good for the chops. The set list for the shows was following:

The overall experience of the Musical Intsruments Fair and visiting Japan was simply too incredible. The Japanese are the finest people in the world. Just wait a little, there will be some live audio and video of the jams available later!

Mika and Mr. Fastfinger will be coming to Tokyo in November. The dueling action show of featuring both Mika and Mr. Fastfinger will be experienced each day during the Japan trade show in Tokyo, november 1-4. More details and other exciting Japan related news soon. Yeah, beat wo kanjiro!

Mika will be visiting Modern Music School in the city of Idar-Oberstein in Germany this following sunday (the 7th). The program of this open doors day will include a workshop detailing the exploding ways and techniques of Mr. Fastfinger. Also another guitar workshop will be held on the same day by the great Thomas Blug. There will also be a jam session featuring both Mika and Mr. Blug. Groovy!

Mr. Fastfinger has returned home from the succesfull tour. Thanks for all the feedback folks, it is true that many of you have now solved the mystery of the modes. Concratulations to all fearless students, you made it all the way!

I’d like to point out that “The Magic Carpet Tour” would have not been possible to realise without the great help from TC electronic. Thank you guys, especially Tore! And concratulations to the lucky winner of TC G-system.

Right now, Mr. Fastfinger’s new projects are developing. Cool stuff will be revealed here later on. Remember to join The Fastfinger mailing list. In the mean time, keep practicing!

Mr. Fastfinger’s mode tour has reached it’s final destination, the locrian Hellhole. It’s a heavy ride, but you’ll have to make it… the mysterious MasterMentor is waiting on the other side.
This is the final capter of The Magic Carpet Tour, but Mr. Fastfinger will return with new adventures later on. Keep shredding!
